Louise had the pleasure to work an this beautiful home in Old Ancaster. The brand new home needed a full design for all cabinetry - everything from bathrooms to the servery, including a stunningly designed kitchen, functional mudroom, built in hutch and a full laundry room. Louise helped the client create a consistent look that carries through the house to make it feel like a home throughout.
Louise loved working with these clients - they knew exactly what they wanted their house to feel like and what design elements they were looking for. Throughout the process, Louise worked alongside the other tradesmen working in the house to help achieve the vision the family had for their home.
In the heart of the home, Louise designed a kitchen that ties in all of the design elements the client dreamed of. With cabinets all the way to the ceiling, including double stackable uppers with glass inserts in the top. Other gorgeous features in this kitchen are the spice rollouts beside the stove and the incredible farm sink with a champagne gold faucet, which was used as a starting point for all of the hardware. The kitchen island has a seating area with detailed columns, as well as a wine fridge built right in. She used a SA60 MDF door style with an Infinity drawer style, both with a soft close feature.
Tucked away in this beautiful kitchen is a servery with plenty of counter space, a second sink, and a storage solution for wine and spirits. This addition to the kitchen makes hosting a breeze, whether used for prep work or as a full coffee and espresso station.
In the dinette, Louise designed a built in hutch with similar details to the ones found in the kitchen to tie everything together. The beautiful hutch provides much needed storage space for this growing family.
Louise brought her keen eye to the master ensuite as well, designing a double sink and vanity. The makeup area separates the two sinks and creates a his and hers area to make mornings simpler.
In the mudroom, Louise created a storage solution with a cushioned bench on top. Never overlooking a detail, she worked with the clients' carpenter to create a cohesive and functional mudroom that makes coming home more welcoming.
Louise truly enjoyed bringing this client's vision to fruition. After making sure that everything was to their liking, and that the delivery and installation went smoothly, Louise is overjoyed that this young family can enjoy all the spaces that she helped them create.
In this home Louise took on the design of the kitchen, along with all vanities, the laundry room and the family room built-in.
